Generative Summary

Before leaving Estazia, Kunaq sent word to Quri Uki about the undead outbreak and the party stocked up on rations at Bruna’s General Store. Nakuji Nabunae partnered with James Ramdath to turn James Ramdath’s Home into a party homebase. In the streets, Meng overheard mixed-race commoners whispering plans to storm the Governor’s Mansion—the party chose to move on, unwilling to risk M’Baku’s newly won freedom or endanger James.

Traveling northeast into the jungle, the group made easy progress on roads before Kunaq spotted two juvenile lightning-charged Jaguars flanking the path—creatures mutated by the Chaos Portals Opened 60 Years Ago. After the Battle with Jungle Jaguars, the party pressed on and made camp. During first watch, Meng revealed her spy background to Octavious and her current mission: find Victor Cole. Octavious shared what he had uncovered about Zolbarr Fiddlesworth’s Pocketwatch, successfully ejecting a hidden pin from its mechanism. Meanwhile on second watch, Kunaq quietly recorded the day’s events in his Kiupu—a knotted rope diary. Their rest was cut short by a distant yowl; hiding beside the dying fire, the party braced as a massive Coeurl emerged from the dark. After the Battle with Coeurl, Octavious harvested the creature’s electric tail prongs as Lightning Bombs and collected two Saber-Tooth Fangs.

Day 1

  • We are able to chart our route very easily today. Mostly roads. A bit of bushwacking with Jungle Machete.

Day 2

  • Nakuji Nabunae works on adapting Ramdath’s Ornate Gauntlet for M’Baku

  • Making good time again.

  • Meng does not notice, but towards the end of the day, Kunaq notices that there are two Jaguars flanking the path. They do not notice Meng

  • We attempt to sneak past, but fail.

  • Battle with Jungle Jaguars

    • Why did they explode lightning?
      • in the jungles outside Estazia, Chaos Portals Opened 60 Years Ago from the realm of water reached through this portion of the world.
      • Their tails have little prongs on the ends mostly covered by hair which is where the electricity is from
      • These are not full grown Jaguars. They are toddler-age
    • We look for tracks. We don’t see any larger tracks. The tracks came from the east, toward the coast.

  • We decide to keep going toward the Jungle Village attacked by corpses

  • We set up camp at night.

    • Meng and Octavious take first watch. Nothing happens

Uh, let’s see. We met and plundered James. James’s house, you know? That sounds bad. Oh, what was his last name again, violating the elderly Granddad? That’s right. Which is maybe the most important thing we’ve done so far? Well, we explore a graveyard, and that’s I ended up a James’s house, right?

Because he live, you know, next to a grave across the street, he had a good view, yes. Yeah, well, this spell spice ages. We started at Spill Spire, right? So, backing up.

Also’s Boutique. She was robbed. I thought a jacket. That’s right, right up at the priests. They pointed up the cemetery. Ran around the cemetery. Not much magic. Been find anything in the cemetery, not really no. Other than whatever craters like they have like, come up out of the ground.

There were clues that a lot of things we thought would have been happening weren’t happening. One thing I have noted.

And the product residue whatsoever. Not necrotic, very faint, magical present in the area where it came from as if it was a creature. Yeah, not a casting, but from imaginal, magical creature that might have been there. And we, uh. Wasn’t anything underneath. There’s not like tunnels or anything. So, I went to see if anybody had seen.

Anything happened and met James, and then that was the rest of the session. No, we did a heist. This is your Chateau. Yes, what to room 432?

Um, this starts to get more spaced out. You start to see more trees. And then. At one point the road. That just kind of circles the outside perimeter of the city. It’s just like City, and then on the opposite side of that road. Jungle. Um. And you guys using the map take the?

Designated Road which you are supposed to take. Um, so we’re not like push whack? Not yet. Now! Here comes. Something that you guys have never encountered before. Um. Because it didn’t exist before. We are now in the wilderness. And we have a certain travel rules. That I use where, as you guys are traveling, each character can pick a certain role for traveling.

It’s like their duty for the day. Um.

I’ll review each of those really quickly. So you’ve got the Navigator? Navigator is the person who is probably possessing the map and trying to direct the party where you’re supposed to go. Um. Not this character. Okay. You have the Scout. This is somebody who is. Like, maybe? Traveling ahead of the group or off to the side behind the group in looks, looking out for Danger, or looking out for like areas of Interest, food, whatever you want to be on the lookout for as you travel.

Um, you have a Defender role. This is the person who is keeping an eye out to protect the party from any kind of danger, and if some kind of combat or something breaks out, the defender is gonna get to have some actions during the surprise. Round. That they can try and attack first to protect people in the group.

They get some say on, like how combat starts. And there’s utility. Um, if there’s like a side thing that you’d like to be doing, like any kind of, like crafting projects as you guys travel. Um. Things like that. You can also do something like that while you travel within kind of a limited capacity, because of course you’re not going to have like a forge on hand as you’re walking down the road, but?

I mean, like 200 pound animal, that’s true. It’s like a drum.

So, I think my character would be a good navigator. High intelligence. Okay, um, but I could also be into. Yep, experience cartographers. Cartographers no? I do. Good doctor. I don’t. I don’t know if that actually helps with the navigation, and people can double up on rolls like it doesn’t just have to do one person per roll, um, and you can leave certain rolls out like with nobody wants to do a utility thing.

Nobody has to. The utilities like crafting, type crafting, or studying something or? Speaking to every plant he passed, but yeah. I think I’d I’d like to double up on that. You can’t do two roles. Oh, okay, two people can do the same. Thank you, um. In that case, if you’re cool with it, I’ll take lead on navigation.
