Upon arrival in Estazia, she’s contacted by her shadow network and given a secret assignment—to observe two marked names, one of which is Sunoko herself.

Octavious

A tortle tinkerer and airship mechanic.
Haunted by the death of his mentor Zolbarr Fiddlesworth, he keeps the gnome’s watch as his only keepsake.
Assigned to skyship repairs, he’s gifted Festival of Stars Parade tickets for the Festival of Stars.

A leonine gladiator, once heir to his tribe’s leadership before betrayal and enslavement by the minotaur Uchoyo.
Scarred, disciplined, and proud, he fights for survival in the Estazia Arena.

Generative Summary

The story begins on the continent of Wilder, where the echoes of an ancient divine war still shape the land and its people. As the city of Estazia readies itself for the week-long Festival of Stars, five very different travelers find their paths unknowingly converging.

Kunaq, an elven acolyte of the mountain temple of Avera, receives a sacred mission from High Priestess Quri Uki to hunt down a heretical priestess who threatens their faith. Across the sea, Nakuchi Nibune, a human artificer called “the Ageless Smith,” departs his home at the urging of his rabbitfolk friend Sunoko, seeking lost wisdom from the Violet Sages of Spellspire. On the same voyage, he meets Meng, a small leopard-patterned tabaxi spy, who is soon drawn back into her network’s intrigue upon arriving in Estasia. Within the city, Octavius, a tortle mechanic haunted by the murder of his gnomish mentor, finishes his work at the skyport and joins the celebrations. Beneath it all, M’Baku, a leonine gladiator enslaved after his tribe’s fall, prepares to fight for his master’s profit in the festival arena.

When the festival begins, joy turns to horror. During the parade, corpses rise from the crowd and attack the living. Kunak and Octavius fight to defend civilians as chaos erupts and guards begin executing the bitten. At the docks, Meng battles the undead alongside an ally while soldiers drive survivors toward the coliseum. Inside the arena, M’Baku duels a furbolg warrior before a roaring crowd—until the gates burst open and terrified citizens flood in, pursued by the spreading plague.

As the session ends, all five heroes—some hidden, some blood-stained—find themselves within the same walls of the arena. The Festival of Stars has become the Night of the Dead, and Estazia trembles on the brink of catastrophe.

Me being recorded. I mean, we were recorded for an entire campaign, I know. I guess Ashley still has all those, and we never got sick. How’s that? Yeah, how often do you think Ashley just goes back and watches the campaign I actually wanted to. Probably not that, yeah, just gonna say, but I don’t know that for sure.

Except the green ones, because that’s where a gift. But they also kind of really function because I had a lot of damage. Girl, my dice, are attached to my frugality. Yeah, that makes sense. Not wanting to spend any additional money? I mean, these are. The ones I chose. It was for Gali as a factor.

Yeah, fair enough, but?

I tried to have a wide variety, so that way at some point I have to have to buy any more dice. I’ll have enough for each of the different kind of characters that I could play. I like it.

Uh, if someone might be the? Or maybe D6, and I think it’s D6 because you can also, yeah. E6. It’s a D6 Fireball to detune, so if you want just straight damage. What’s good and it’s long range, um, Thorn whip is fine because you can. Pull people with it.

It’s less damage, but you can also.

I don’t know if you want to pull things 10 feet closer to you or not, though. With that AC. Can I find? Thorn whip. Can you like grab a hold of something and like pull yourself up? That’s more of a. There. I would make you probably roll a special check for that, but I would allow things such as that.

Um. 60 years ago, there was opening of some chaos portals. Um. There’s still every now and then. Um, weird, Ripple effects from that.

But things are much calmer than they were six years ago. Six or sixty six zero? And. We’re gonna begin. For those of you guys who are familiar with Dimension 20. We’re gonna do some. Little character vignettes. Elsa. Me what my music?

Um, on that armor. There are pieces of metal woven kind of to form almost like a scaled breastplate. And he also has different chords. That have? Some small animal bones. Deeds, a different forms like small Stones that have been etched into beads. Um, and the armor itself is dyed very bright colors, so.

White red yellow. They’re all kind of Patchwork, and it’s really thick. And. Uh, long, black here. Get interrupted. Um, how do I say your name come?

It’s very dimly lit large Stone columns. Um. This stuff that is lit is kind of like your breastplate. Like, very brightly colored banners and things. Lots of cords. And it’s thick smoke in here, like by dim fires. Um. The high priestess, Cory UK, also a son of. Um. Is?

Wearing. Like, Priestly garments with lots of gold. Um. Gold earrings, like if she moves, it’s just clanking of jewelry. Um. And she’s right now. Standing like waiting for you? And Jesus. Kunak. I have a task for you.

Are you familiar with? Priestess, another ranks that goes by Naomi. Real history time. Hey first roll. I think that’s nine. That’s nice. The name Rings a bell. Um, because you’ve heard other people mention this name and kind of like a. Another name, like, yeah, kind of intrigued.

So she lets you know that? Naomi’s a threat to our? A threat to our religion, a threat to our culture. And she has gone this.

We think that she headed into the jungle. We’d like to send an attachment of acolytes to go find her.

They’re looking at parchment papers. They’re taking anything that any kind of papers like blueprints and things that fiddles worth has been working on for the past several months. They’re shutting in a bags. Um. And. They don’t really seem. To take much notice of you. Um. They’re shouting. I missed yoursworth.

At this point, streets are all starting to, like, clear people are trying to get out. But there’s so many, like crowds, of people that, like, people are getting stampeded and.

It’s not that. Um. At this point. Um, guards are starting to swarm the streets as well. They’re starting to step onto the street, um, they’re telling people. Like, right now, they’re kind of like looking around like, what to do? Um. One of them just shouts to the arena. So, crowd starts shifting that way towards the um towards the arena, which is just a couple blocks over.

Um. One of the guards, also now the civilian who is currently bleeding out that’s been attacked by the wines zombie that it’s still alive. Um, it’s just going to healed. Not the one that he healed, the one that just got hit. Oh, the second one, yeah, the second civilian.

Um. This guard is actually going to, like, take their crossbow, and like pirate, the citizens head. Um, I always said, it’s found dead. Um. What? Yes, so. One of the guards shoots the civilian shoots the civilian. Yes, we all see it. Oh, we see it, um, whatever uproar. Like, whatever column there was starting to be.

Now that the guards were on, the scene is like, even now, more freaked out because people just saw this happen. Bolting towards the area. It is sheer chaos. Um, at the dock. You guys, um? Are? Like? Still being. Still attacking these little. Things these corpse things? Um.

The thing I was in here? I was a little worried you could fire. Yeah, yeah, so that is. 13 damage, and as actually this garbage fires it, like right through the heart, hins the grips to the wall and everything but little crossbow. Um. And this one is now dead.

He’s gonna look at you guys, and it’s gonna say. Um, people are taking Refuge in the arena. I suggest you go there. Now, we don’t know how many of these things there are. Um. That’s it for now! So, if we’re gonna? Back to Baku in Arena fur bog. Um.

You’ve done all the damage to him at this point, and you’re just kind of. Like, rest, and easy. Like, you have not been hit. Um, maybe breaking a little bit of sweat, but I don’t know it’s up to you barely, like two minutes, so? It is your time. It is your turn.

Now, I will say, as you guys are going, like ushering in like, there are more attacks of these things, attacking civilians and stuff you guys can help out as much as you can, is to kind of like, fill in the gaps would love to spare the um as much as possible.

Um. You’re keeping people up as much as you can, but these guards are under the impression that if you have been attacked by one of these things that you are going to come back as one of these things, so there are some guards who are taking matters into their own hands.

And killing off civilians. And there are other guards who are trying to fight off these guards and say, no, like, we can’t do this like, this is the populist. We’re trying to protect, like, even amongst the guards. There’s utter turmoil on what is happening. Um. But. As best you guys can, we’re all kind of arriving into the arena.

At this point, you, I’m Baku, like, what’s your reaction to all of these people coming in? Um, I would say Umbaku is still pretty focused on the furball. I mean, that just dealt them a really hard blow. He’s got a little bit of tunnel vision, and like, right. Around the edges.

He’s used in the class on noise. Does he really notice people coming in? Um, what’s your passive perception? I don’t have it written down. So, what’s your wisdom bonus? Zero. So okay, it’s a 10. Um. So? This is big enough that, yeah, you’ve noticed. Even just like, faintly. But like, there are people entering the arena.

There’s other stuff happening here. Um. And is actually going to use his action to disengage and like, move away from you. Now, the other things are happening, okay? Um. Crowds are confused. And. You guys! I’ll find yourselves. Where are you guys in the arena, like in the stands, or sneak into the center somewhere, but just through a different way, or what?

I mean, mang wouldn’t be on the periphery. Yeah. I’m thinking the same thing. So, how would you guys feel about like climbing some stairs to get up top? Yes, that’ll work okay, sounds. Yeah. So not the like, not like the Press Box. Yeah. Person knows heist place. You can be.

So? You guys! As people have flooded in, and the arena is at, like, maximum occupancy right now, they’ve closed the doors and the attacks outside the hit City are still continuing. And.
